Tyrell Hatton and Jon Rahm joined LIV Golf earlier this year and were part of the same team. Rahm was leading the Legion XIII and made an incredible debut by winning the season-long individual championship.
During mid-season, a few rumors were going around saying the Spanish golfer was unhappy with LIV and regretted his decision to join the breakaway league. However, his teammate and fellow European golfer Tyrrell Hatton has brushed off these rumors, calling them ‘media BS’.
NUCLR Golf, a prominent account on golf Twitter, shared this on their X account (formerly Twitter).
“Tyrrell Hatton on past reporting that Jon Rahm might be unhappy at LIV: ‘Forgive me saying this but that is just media BS. People showed me some of the stuff that was written, but from being around Jon that’s never even been a thought process that crossed my mind. He’s really enjoyed it and he has certainly played some pretty good golf [via @DailyMailUK],” read the caption.
Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm made their LIV Golf debut together in February 2024 at LIV Golf Maykoba. The two European golfers had an excellent season as they finished inside top-5 in the season-long individual championship while Legion XIII remained second.
Jon Rahm had an incredible debut season in LIV Golf. Despite winning two events late in the season, the Spanish golfer managed to win the individual championship thanks to his consistent top-10 finishes throughout the season.
