Bubba Watson will be sidelined for around eight weeks after undergoing minor surgery on his left hand.
The 46-year-old two-time Masters champion said he developed a small growth on his left ring finger that was causing pain and affecting his grip. Doctors identified it as a “lesion” and advised a procedure to remove it.
Watson, who captains the RangeGoats in LIV Golf, was scheduled to play in the Philippines and Hong Kong later this month but will now miss those events. He’s expected to return in time for the start of the 2026 LIV Golf season in February and prepare for another Masters run in April.
