In the video posted by the official handle of the Presidents Cup, Kisner can be seen taking off his shirt after the win. He then shared a light-hearted moment with Homa who had a drink in hand. The two were seen embracing each other during the interaction. After the hug, Homa said (via PGA Tour):
“That was well worth the wait. That’s all man right there.”
The interaction evoked laughter from other U.S. team President Cup members, who could be seen in the background.

In the post-tournament press conference, Homa was asked how long it took him to consider the bet. He said (via PGA Tour):
“I mean, like half a second, second and a half,” Homa said. “I looked back, and he was scampering down 9 fairway trying to run away from me, I think. He left me a good four minutes before that. I don’t blame him.”
“Yeah, it was obviously on my mind the whole week. I basically had three checkmarks this week. One was to win the Presidents Cup with these boys. Two was to have a great time. And three, to get Kis to take his shirt off. So I went three-for-three,” he added.
Homa won his Sunday Singles match against Mackenzie Hughes on the 17th hole by 2 & 1.

US Team Captain Jim Furyk chose Kevin Kisner as his assistant in June 2024 along with Stewart Cink and Justin Leonard. This was the first time Kevin Kisner became an assistant. He had earlier participated in two Presidents Cups in 2017 and 2022.
Kisner has an overall record of 2-2-3 at the Presidents Cup. Two weeks ago, at the Solheim Cup, Allison Lee’s and Megan Khang‘s caddie went shirtless after the former scored an eagle during the competition.

In the pre-tournament press conference, Kevin Kisner was asked if he would fulfill his promise to take his shirt off. He agreed and said (via Golf.com):
“I’m really hoping that later in the week — I hope it’s later in the week because, if I had to take my shirt off today, it would be pretty brutal out there,” Kisner said, referencing the early-week cold weather. But, yeah, I’m all in for that.”
Max Homa took the lead on the first hole and went 1 Up against Mackenzie Hughes. Hughes tied the score with a par on the fifth hole. Homa retook his lead on the 8th hole and scored two more birdies on the 13th and 15th holes to go 3 Up. Homa won the match by 2 & 1 with a hole remaining
